So for the past week, I've been trying to keep with NYFW ( + a little of London FW), and I have soOo many favorites!! It took me such a long time to narrow down my top picks of which looks I loved most, but here they are!

Lookout for another post about fashion month this week-- NYFW street style post!

Hope you guys were as excited as I was to see all the fabulous and incredible pieces that these big-time designers came up with for fall & winter this year! Maybe one day, I'll be one of those A-listers who's able to sit in the front row of the fashion shows (...a girl could only wish, haha!), but for now I'll only fantasize about it :~).
Have a great rest of the week (2 1/2 more days until the weekend, guys!!)

january/ winter faves 2015

Hello lovely bloggers! It has been so long since I have posted and I'm sorry! I got caught up with finals and school and family stuff, but all that is going to calm down now (hopefully), hehe. Anyways, since I have been so caught up with everything and I've been feeling so stressed and tired lately, there are a few things that has gotten me through the winter/the month of January!

My beauty favorites include the LUSH Mask of Magnaminty and their Mint Julips lip scrub! The mask makes my face feel fresher and calmer than ever; I find it best to use it when I feel really stressed out or if I feel a breakout coming on. My 2 other favorites are both moisturizers. The Estee Lauder daywear moisturizer with SPF that I apply on in the morning and the Korean brand moisturizer, Sulwhasoo, that I apply on at night. My face gets extremely dry during the winter time, and so these 2 combined help combat the dryness of my skin. Also, if you are interested, I will be posting up a skin-care routine soon, so keep your eyes open for that!

My favorite makeup brands/products recently have been the Smashbox lipstick in the color primrose, the Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant mascara and the Rouge Artist Natural N9 lipstick (both of which I got for free on my birthday), and the Covergirl Bombshell Intensity eyeliner (although I only bought it about a week ago, so far, I love it!!).

I have also been loving the Bath & Body Works Country Chic Chic Champagnard body cream and the Anthropologie Oasis Blossom candle!

Lastly, my fashion favorite is this FANTASTIC & FABULOUS cardigan I purchased from Sheinside. This literally saves me and keeps me warm from the brisk breeze in the California mornings. It can even act like a blanket (which I am guilty for sometimes).

What has been your winter/january favorite(s)? I hope you guys did well with your finals (whenever you took it), and kick 2nd semester of school in the arse! The other day, I received a signup for classes for Senior year, and I can't express just how I am excited for it!!!! Hopefully 2nd semester of Junior year will go by in a breeze. I hope you guys liked this post and are happy I'm back (a little more often, hopefully)! Make the most of your weekend!
 Xo, Vanessa.
